Develop, evaluate, troubleshoot and improve tooling and manufacturing methods and processes for cost reduction, decreased cycle and set-up times, and on-time, quality, and efficiency improvements, utilizing statistical knowledge and information on product design, materials and parts, production equipment capabilities and quality standards.
- Participate in solving quality problems involving production and equipment, and drive improvement and process changes that improve cost and efficiency.
- Single point contact for tooling and equipment issues, concerns, and possible continuous throughput improvement ideas and/or projects.
- Monitor all equipment by conducting regular testing and ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out.
- Create and oversee standardized production procedures and maintain all documentation for products, such as work instructions and revision drawings; and determining ways to minimize operating costs,
such as equipment justification to enhance performance.
- Plan, coordinate, administer and manage the activities of the manufacturing process engineering and tooling functions.
- Assure sound engineering and validation principals are applied to process design.
- Supervise all process engineering, technical and tooling employees.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, or similar technical field.
- Minimum 3 years (preferred) operating in a manufacturing environment with experience of driving reliability improvements.
- Minimum accredited lean six sigma green belt.
- Knowelge of vision/inspection systems (Cognex preffered)
- Knowledge of functionality of Delta Robots (Preffered)
- Knowelge of print technologies (Flexography Preffered)
- Full bilingual 90%
