We are seeking a **Plant Manager** who directs and coordinates all materials, manufacturing and engineering operations so that approved products are produced on schedule and within quality standards and cost targets. Ensures that sound financial views are reflected in overall business decisions.

**What you will do**
- Directs subordinates in the management of assigned areas to ensure that objectives and operations are achieved satisfactorily and performance is consistent with established policies and programs.
- Defines and recommends all plant objectives.
- Develops specific short
- and long-term plans and programs, together with budget requests for support.
- Develops the management talents necessary to obtain company goals through effective leadership, mentoring and training in accordance with an overall workforce plan.
- Approves or recommends approval of organizational structure and staffing requirements.
- Provides leadership in establishing and maintaining employee relationships that will help attract and achieve a desirable productive workforce, as well as support activities designed to achieve a high level of employee morale.
- Provides consultation, advice,



and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures to all employees throughout the manufacturing unit.
- Directs the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to perform the functions of the department.
- Prepares periodic reports for the Senior Vice President of Integral Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management or other management personnel as needed or requested.
- Monitors company compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, FDA and other federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
- Regularly and systematically analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of all operations to ensure compliance with established objectives, adherence to company policies and prompt corrective action when necessary.
- Maintains the necessary communication and coordination with the Sr. VP of Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.
**What you will need**
- Professional Career in Administration, Engineering, Finance
- Must possess characteristics that indicate the ability to exercise good judgment and leadership in decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Must have experience in leading and motivating people and the ability to understand human behavior in the workplace, a manufacturing plant environment.
- If located in San Diego, will be required to cross border daily.
