The GL Analyst will be responsible for various tasks related to the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Recording and reconciling financial transactions in the general ledger.
- Preparing and posting journal entries accurately and timely.
- Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Supporting internal and external audit activities by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
