The Role:

As a Senior Backend Engineer within Financial Sevices, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of financial technology. You will collaborate with a high-performing team responsible for developing and implementing PayClip's advanced lending solutions. Your responsibilities will extend beyond conventional software development; you will be at the forefront of experimenting with new technologies to enhance our engagement with Clip customers. This role presents the exciting opportunity to become an expert in content usage and customer insights, driving our strategic decisions.

What will I be doing?

Design, develop, and experiment with software programs using a diverse range of technologies.

Innovate and explore new technologies to connect with Clip customers effectively.





Cultivate expertise in content usage and customer insights, shaping our strategy.

Utilize Java 8+ / Golang, AWS, Testing, Design Patterns, Databases (relational, key-value, document), and Agile Methodology to drive project success.

Thrive in a data-driven culture, making strategic and immediate decisions based on analytics.

Communicate effectively, providing insights into strategic priorities.

Idóneo Candidate:

Senior in Java/Go development, Agile development, design patterns, testing, and other software engineering principles and processes.

Solid understanding of internet and IP communications protocols and formats such as TCP/IP, HTTP, JSON, etc.

Knowledge of AWS/Cloud and Docker.

Solid understanding of RESTful service architecture and API.

Solid knowledge in Datadog, Grafana, Cloudwatch
