**The Role**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain user-facing features with clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure pixel-perfect UI and a smooth and intuitive user experience
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Optimize for speed, scalability, and performance
- Review code and provide technical feedback to team members
- Mentor and coach less experienced engineers on the team
- Help define standards and best practices on your team for testing, software delivery, observability, and so on




- Attend critical team meetings like stand up and sprint planning
- Write technical documentation
- Implement improvements to development processes
- Debug and resolve issues in production
- Advocate for new technology and design patterns where you believe they can help power the business
- Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality user experiences aligned with business goals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in frontend development and explore new technologies
- Collaborate with engineering leads to design scalable, maintainable, and performant frontend solutions
**Qualifications**:
- Expert understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem; specifically around testing frameworks, React, and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and implementing responsive designs
- Strong communication skills and experience working in a collaborative, Agile environment
