**About the Role**
We are now looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cross-border payment platform. You will lead a team of talented software engineers, driving innovation and ensuring the successful execution of our technical strategy. Your responsibilities will encompass team management, strategic planning, and hands-on coding, making you a key contributor to our growth and success.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage team performance, set goals, and track progress
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with cross-functional departments
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
- Collaborate with business development, product, and other teams to define and execute the technical roadmap
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to ensure our platform remains competitive
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize development processes and improve code quality
- Contribute to the overall technical direction of the company
- Actively participate in coding projects, helping the company reach its objectives while setting a high-quality standard inside and outside the team
- Review and mentor team members' code to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Contribute to the development of reusable components and libraries
- Generate exemplary technical documentation, helping the team to set the foundations for success
**Requirements**:




- Proven experience as a senior software engineer with a strong track record of delivering successful projects
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in team management, preferably in a fast-paced technology environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve their goals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for building innovative and scalable software solutions
- Experience in the fintech industry is a plus

- Cloud: Google Cloud services (Firestore, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Google Artifact Registry, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, etc.)
