As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team,** FieldCore** installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.
**Job Summary**:
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Work with functional leaders to understand business priorities and objectives and develop a system strategy and roadmap for the implementation of strategic solutions that effectively address the business objectives and problems.
- Work with functional leaders to define processes and high-level requirements and translate them into automated solutions in the SAP ERP system, using existing functionality where possible.
- Prepare, conduct, and manage system and unit testing to ensure new solutions, enhancements, patches and fixes,
and product updates work properly according to specification with documented test results.
- Prepare, deliver, and manage end user training, including refresher/remedial training to address situations where existing system functionality is not being used optimally.
- Coordinate and perform production release/cutover activities such as code migrations and data conversions as necessary to support project timelines and operations schedules.
- Lead and coordinate the resolution of system related business problems and systems issues daily by working with internal and external functional and technical resources.
- Lead and direct various resources from business and system related groups, both internal and external, to ensure the required outcome is achieved.
- Travel may be required.
- May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.
**Required Qualifications & Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical/related field
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM/WM modules
- 1-2 years of experience in SAP SD or SAP PM will be preferred.
- English proficiency required.
**Desired Characteristics**:
- Experience in multiple full lifecycle SAP ERP implementation projects.
- Excellent level knowledge of SAP ERP modules related to area of responsibility (MM, WM)
- Experience in SAP ERP production support.
- Ability to read ABAP and evaluate code issues by stepping through it in debug.
- Good understanding of other SAP ERP modules (SD, PM) and integration to modules in area of responsibility
- Solid experience in design and development of SAP ERP enhancements and custom functionality
- Solid experience in writing Functional Specifications and Standard Configuration of SAP modules.
- Good experience with reporting tools such as SQVI, HANA BW and Tableau
- Experience of working with global businesses and with geographically dispersed teams
- Experience of working with offshore development and support teams
- Share knowledge and insights to team members though mentoring where needed.
- Good knowledge of IT development and implementation methodologies including Agile, SDLC
- Understanding of interfacing/integration technologies including web services, EDI etc. is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand business processes from the end user perspective.
- Ability to work well in a matrixed team environment and interact with others effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and aptitude for experiential learning
- Performance driven with a proven ability to exceed goals in a high-pressure environment.
