We are seeking a talented and dedicated **Go Language Software Engineer** to join our team.
You will focus on improving test infrastructure through automation, expanding test coverage, and streamlining the software testing process. If you're passionate about advancing testing capabilities and improving software quality, we want to hear from you!
**Responsibilities**
- Develop services to extend seeding infrastructure for additional FHIR resource types via a service seed API
- Enhance contract test coverage by identifying gaps, creating tests for untested systems, and using reporting tools
- Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks for E2E tests with Cypress and API-based solutions
- Expand integration infrastructure, including adding pubsub and big query support to the Ephemeral FHIR store
- Increase integration test coverage for SPS systems while improving local development workflows using GenSkaffold
- Audit and standardize existing integration tests to ensure consistency and reliability
- Collaborate with test engineers to design scalable, automated testing solutions
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify testing requirements and ensure delivery of high-quality results
- Contribute to accessibility testing capabilities for improved usability and compliance across platforms
- Develop strategies for improving test processes and tools within the organization
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with a strong focus on Golang development
- Experience with gRPC, Docker, and containerized environments such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)




- Background in Javascript or Typescript, with proficiency in frameworks like React and Cypress
- Skills in API design, testing frameworks, and creating automated test strategies
- Expertise in implementing solutions for enhancing test infrastructure, with a focus on integration and seeding technology
- Familiarity with Behavioral-Driven Development (BDD) and end-to-end testing methodologies
- Understanding of accessibility standards, usability, and best practices for testing across web platforms
- Competency in cloud-based tools, scalability considerations, and modern development workflows
**Nice to have**
- Knowledge of pubsub and big query functionalities, particularly in the context of FHIR data stores
- Background in using GenSkaffold for improving local development environments
- Familiarity with testing tools for Web UI and standards compliance
- Showcase of capabilities in improving and auditing testing processes for cloud-based environments
