We are seeking a **Senior Data Scientist** with expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Python to develop innovative AI-powered chatbot solutions tailored for specialized use cases.
**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, analytics, and engineering, to design and implement shopping assistant chatbot solutions
- Define prompt engineering strategies to enhance chatbot conversational quality and user interaction
- Build and deploy LLM-based agents capable of seamless integration with external tools, APIs, and databases via function calling
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of chatbot responses through robust evaluation and hallucination prevention methodologies
- Develop data-driven strategies for A/B testing and optimization in collaboration with analytics teams
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights and support the creation of structured data requirements for engineering teams
- Partner with cloud engineering teams to guide infrastructure development for scalable AI solutions
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of working experience in AI and ML development, preferably with a focus on conversational agents
- Expertise in LLMs, leveraging OpenAI APIs within Azure ecosystems
- Solid skills in Python for AI workflow integration and optimization
- Knowledge of hallucination prevention techniques and Responsible AI & compliance best practices
- Background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Conversational AI design
- Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks, experimentation strategies, and performance metrics for AI systems
- Capability to define data and testing requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of cloud services, with the ability to specify infrastructure needs or provide hands-on support
**Nice to have**
- Experience in exploratory data analysis (EDA) to enhance chatbot accuracy
- Proficiency in creating technical requirements for data engineering teams
