**What will you do?**
- Implement and maintain a safe work environment by promoting a culture of accident prevention.
- Design and validate manufacturing processes and production cells.
- Calculate and control optimal capacities for production lines.
- Create technical documentation, including work sheets and process specifications.
- Monitor and improve existing manufacturing methods and welding technologies.
- Conduct inspections and support in the qualification of welders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to implement Lean Manufacturing principles.
**How will you do it?**
- You will utilize your technical knowledge of various welding processes, including GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW, to develop Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
- You will work collaboratively with teams to identify best practices and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Your role will also include evaluating production layouts and overseeing the training of junior staff.
**What are we looking for?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- +3 years of experience in welding engineering or a related field.
- Valid welding certifications (GMAW, SMAW) in all positions.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and welding symbols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments.
