We are seeking an experienced and talented **Data Engineer**to join our team.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing data systems that align with business goals. Working closely with stakeholders, you will deliver reliable database solutions that enable data-driven decision-making and operational improvements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex data challenges and making a meaningful impact through innovative solutions.
**Responsibilities**
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs and transform them into actionable business intelligence solutions
- Create and implement ETL workflows and scripts to extract, transform, and load data into a centralized data warehouse
- Leverage Google's internal workflow tools to meet business data requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions
- Transition legacy workflows to upgraded infrastructure while ensuring adherence to current design standards and best practices
- Establish and enforce data security measures and access policies to maintain compliance with organizational guidelines
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a comparable role
- Expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and reporting systems
- Deep understanding and proven experience in managing multiple data warehouse projects across diverse business domains
- Advanced SQL skills (BigQuery), with strong capabilities in query development and data manipulation
- Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as Google Dashboards (PLX Dashboards), Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, or equivalent platforms
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with Google’s internal BI tools, including Dremel/F1, BigQuery, PLX,
and Looker
- Solid problem-solving skills, along with experience in project management and team collaboration
- Exceptional organizational abilities and a proven track record of managing multiple priorities efficiently
