We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated **Senior Data Engineer**to join our team.
In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions to meet business objectives. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver robust database solutions that drive decision-making and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with complex data systems and contributing to impactful projects.
**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into effective business intelligence solutions
- Design and develop ETL packages and scripts to extract, transform, and load data into the data warehouse
- Utilize Google's internal workflow engines to address business data needs and deliver timely solutions
- Migrate legacy workflows to updated infrastructure while adhering to modern design standards and best practices
- Implement and maintain data security and access policies to ensure compliance with organizational standards
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with executing multiple data warehouse projects across various business domains
- Advanced SQL skills (BigQuery) with proficiency in data manipulation and query development
- Experience in data visualization and reporting using tools such as Google Dashboards (PLX Dashboards), Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Previous experience working with Google's internal BI stack, including tools like Dremel/F1, BigQuery, PLX, and Looker
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in project management and team collaboration
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
