**About the role**:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join one of our Wythenshawe primary schools. The school is looking for someone to deliver targeted interventions in one of their EYFS classes on a full-time basis. This role will suit ECTs or qualified Teaching Assistants.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Support the class teacher with daily teaching and learning activities
- Deliver targeted support to individuals and small groups
- Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to planning and assessment under the guidance of the teacher
- Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff
**Requirements**:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or above) - essential
- Recent experience working in a primary school setting - EYFS or KS1 preference
- Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
- Ability to engage and motivate learners
- Committed, adaptable and proactive with excellent communication skills
- A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
