What You’ll Do

The Business Operations Specialist plays a critical role in managing human resources operations, financial administration, strategic initiatives and partnerships. You will oversee payroll, talent acquisition, financial administration, and support implementation of strategic initiatives together with partnership management.. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives, provide management process efficiency and boost organizational efficiency overall.

Your Responsibilities

Human Resources

Manage HR administrative tasks, including emails, document updates, and report preparation.

Coordinate payroll processing, contractor payments, and benefits programs.

Manage talent acquisition and onboarding/offboarding processes.

Manage HR platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Deel, Gusto) and liaise with service providers.

Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and organize engagement activities.

Support conflict resolution and employee relations management.

Organize and oversee corporate events, celebrations, and team check-ins.

Conduct the recruitment and selection of talent.

Manage and coordinate our show & tell meeting (monthly)

Meetings with department directors to discuss concerns and employee topics.

Finance & Administration

Monthly financial closing processes.

Financial statements (EEFF) - Closing of CASH and ACC post treasury closure.





Maintain and update financial dashboards and internal documentation.

Quarterly results reports to leadership, Investors and Board.

Ensure accurate bookkeeping.

Strategy

Review and monitor Operational KPIs dashboards to identify tendencies, outliers, red flags, trends, etc.

Follow-up on strategic initiatives proposed for implementation

Monitoring the design, implementation, and results of initiatives

Partnerships

Partnership Management (Full Funnel) with a Primary Focus on:

Pricing, negotiations, implementation, follow-up/relationship management, and partnership renewal or extension

Recurrent Update on AirTable Status od Partnerships

Recurrent update on ongoing results (Excel tracking for payments)

Constant updates and review of the Media Kit

Day-to-Day Follow-up:

Reaching out to new partners

Status tracking of proposals

Proposal creation + support for other teams

Implementation follow-up and administrative/operational support for Kinedu teams
