Eaton’s EPG LAC PD Power Distribution division is currently seeking a SCM MANAGER.
**What you’ll do**:
Responsible for managing key Supply Chain related functions and optimization such as materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of specific customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing, inventory control and warehousing, shipping and receiving for EES MX Business Unit that includes Power Distribution (PD), Power Systems (PS), Critical Power Digital Infrastructure (CPDI), Tripp-Lite (TL) with one warehouse in manufacturing plant and two distribution centers. Manages and directs supply chain personnel in the procurement, receipt, disbursement, and inventory control of material to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels. Is expected to train and educate direct reports on the use of supply chain management techniques, various business systems, varieties of reports and other related tools to ensure timely and economic completion of customer requirements.

**Responsibilities**:
- Negotiate the pricing of major commodity groups.
- Work with corporate commodity teams on supplier performance and cost out programs.
- Establish team standard work and Attainment of SCM KPIs.
- Review actual results to ensure that goals are achieved for cost savings, inventory, shipping & customer service-related issues.
- Management of transportation issues, including review of carriers and daily execution of shipping schedules, for cost, service and quality.
- Review all issues related to NAFTA for imports and exports and ensure compliance to same.
- Continually support the education and cross training of all subordinates.
- Review stock levels and direct customer orders to assure 95% SFR and OTP.
- Negotiate VMI programs and drive cost reduction initiatives.
- To coordinate order scheduling to meet customer promise dates for our different manufacturing product lines for ETO assembly and Components for stock and non-stock items.
- Ensure prompt communication with the Commercial team in Sales orders status.
- Develop logistics, distribution and warehouse strategies for the region.
- Coordinates the SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) function, specifically managing the demand and supply planning based on current pipeline backlog and future state projects.
- Manage inventory control and warehousing in the region, focusing on balance inventory and lead times from suppliers focused on customer expectations.
- Contracts and evaluates logistics suppliers for transportation, Customs clearance, warehouse services, and outbound distribution according to Eaton policies and procedures.
- Analyzes and evaluates inventory and delivery problems to recommend and/or implement solutions to optimize inventory levels and customer service.
- Manage and implement action plans for obsolete, surplus material and by-products to minimize excess material.
- Drive logistics process improvements, developing an optimal material flow to support customer requirements.
- Support the sales organization on costing the best logistics solution for special projects, assist in the analysis of engineering cost savings programs based on reducing costs and lead times.
- Full Management with Eaton Business System's Operational Assessment (OpA) for the completion on Material Management Assessment (MMA), as an objective evaluation of Supply Chain current processes to identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement.
- Performs and Analyzes the Gross Inventory Monthly Forecast and Drives Inventory Profit Plan based on Business COGS (Cost of Goods Sales).
- Excecutes and Analyzes the Inventory Entitlement process, to alligned DOH targets and product positioning stratedy
- Quaterly revision and update with PFEP (Plan For Every Part) process, for the ABC,HML,XYZ at part number Level classification.
- Comply with the OEA program (Operador Eaconomico Autorizado) for Juarez manufacturing site and DC in Mexico.
- Comply the Eaton Business System (EBS), in foundations, Planning, Growth, Functional Excellence, Assessment and Learning, mainly in the Eaton Business Excellence (EBE); ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 and its tools (such as: Eaton Quality System (EQS), Eaton Lean System and Six Sigma-ELS, HR Standard Work and Employee Survey.
- Active participation in continuous improvement programs and committees (I&D; and Community Council, Special Events, Special Projects, Fire Brigade, CI Framework, and EHS).
- Meet any other activity assigned by supervisor or special requirements of the company.
