Industrial Estimator
**EFX Industrial** is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Industrial Estimator** to join our team. This position is responsible for reviewing project documents, developing accurate cost estimates, preparing competitive proposals, and supporting projects from the bidding stage through award.
**Responsibilities**:
- Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents.
- Prepare detailed labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates.
- Perform material takeoffs and develop accurate project quantities.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
- Identify project risks, exclusions, clarifications, and scope gaps.
- Prepare professional estimates, proposals, and bid packages.
- Coordinate with project managers, field personnel, vendors, and customers.
- Maintain organized estimating files and historical cost information.
- Assist with change-order pricing and project cost evaluations.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks when required.




- Meet bid deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous estimating experience in **industrial construction, fabrication, mechanical, piping, structural steel, or related work** preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong understanding of labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industrial construction practices and safety requirements is a plus.
