AFL Telecommunications is a company dedicated to the assembly of fiber optic cables and a wide range of other state-of-the-art telecommunications products, including conductor accessories, fiber optic connectivity, fusion splicing, and testing and inspection equipment.

We are looking for talent for the position of: Manufacturing Excellence / Continuous Improvement Intern

Location: Apodaca, NL.

Profile:

Student in 8th semester or higer in Industrial Engineering or related fields.

Must have at least 1 year or 6 months remaining to complete the degree.

Experience not required.

Technical skills:

English: B1 level or higher, with at least a basic conversational proficiency

Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro-E.

Main responsibilities:

Provide support in the development of visual aids, analyses, evaluations, and designs for various improvement initiatives as they arise.

Provide support to process engineers in different activities.

Time studies, area measurements,



and line balancing.

Support in meetings, workshops, training sessions, or events within the Continuous Improvement department.

We offer:

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 07:00 a.m. - 03:00 p.m.

Monthly support: $10,000 MXN.

School–company agreement.
