Responsible for the investigation, evaluation,
disposition, and settlement of complex claims and moderate exposures. This
includes the investigation, determination, and evaluation of coverage,
liability and damages, and the setting of proper reserves.
1. Handling claims which may have multiple features
identified upon report or likely to arise during the investigation of the claim
including collision, comprehensive, physical damage and unrepresented injury
claims

2. Identify and triage possible bodily injury
exposures

3. Responsible for claims that result from
catastrophes including:

· Hail losses

· Hurricane/Wind losses

· Flood losses

4. Responsible for claims that may involve
significant/multiple coverage issues including:

· Unlisted driver operating vehicle at time of loss

· Unlisted vehicle being operated at time of loss

· Non-permissive user of vehicle at time of loss

· Other loss to VIN/Policy

· Business Use

· Non-Cooperation

· Loss within 10 days of coverage, change, inception or expiration

· Policy cancellation

5. Responsible for claims involving all types of auto




accidents from single vehicle to complex multi vehicle losses

6. Responsible for rental management and tow storage
mitigation

7. Deliver Customer Service according to company
expectations

8. Responsible for processing claims involving:

· Complex liability investigations

9. Identifying red flags and referring possible fraud
to the SIU team

Requirements Scholarship: College (Desirable)
Specialized knowledge: Claims
English level: Advanced
Computer knowledge: MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) Intermediate to advanced
Experience: 1 to 2 years of claims experience in auto liability and physical damage preferred, customer service, negotiation, analytical thinking
