The Manufacturing Shopfloor Design Manager Specialist plays a crucial role in our organization, responsible for optimizing and designing efficient shopfloor layouts. This position is integral to ensuring that our manufacturing processes are streamlined, cost-effective, and compliant with industry standards. Core Responsibilities:
- Shopfloor Layout Optimization: Design and implement efficient 2D/3D CAD layouts to optimize material flow, equipment placement, and worker ergonomics.
- Safety & Workflow Compliance: Refine material workflows and enforce safety floor marking standards to maintain a safe, efficient environment.
- Capacity Expansion: Support the introduction of new manufacturing platforms and expand shopfloor capacity.
- EHS Compliance:



Ensure all shopfloor layouts strictly comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Proactive Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational, EHS, quality, and product safety risks to prevent operational disruptions.
- Space Utilization: Optimize shopfloor space to maximize output per square meter and overall efficiency.
- Simulation & Scenario Planning: Use 2D/3D CAD simulations to model line changes, minimize downtime, and validate expansion plans before investing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to integrate technical solutions focused on safety, ergonomics, quality, and efficiency.
