This role joins an established copywriting team at a fast-paced, high-growth auto and dealership marketing company, adding capacity as the client scales its content output. The Copywriter is responsible for producing direct-response video ad scripts and accompanying ad copy for dealership and retail clients, working entirely from secondhand source material — onboarding call recordings, client websites, and social content — with no direct client contact. All briefs and context are routed through a Client Success Manager, making the ability to extract and interpret information independently a core function of the role.





RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write direct-response video ad scripts and accompanying ad copy from secondhand client source material.

• Extract brand and product information from onboarding call recordings, notes, websites, and social content.

• Deliver completed scripts within a 3-day turnaround window: intake received day 1, scripts delivered by day 3.

• Interpret creative briefs accurately on the first pass, hitting the core brief without requiring structural revisions.

• Work independently after a 2-3 week ramp-up period with minimal ongoing direction.

• Integrate AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT into the daily writing workflow to support efficiency without replacing craft.

• Coordinate with the Client Success Manager to receive all necessary context and submit deliverables via ClickUp and Google Drive.
