An international crop-protection company is seeking a Regional Formulated Product Development Manager to lead formulated-product development activities in Mexico and support collaboration across Latin America.
This role will connect field research, formulation development, registration, product positioning and commercial launch preparation. The successful candidate will work closely with regional commercial and regulatory teams, external research partners and general headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Mexico formulated-product development roadmap and annual field-trial portfolio.
- Identify priority crops, pests, application gaps and formulation opportunities.
- Translate market requirements into product-development briefs, trial plans and investment recommendations.
- Design and manage efficacy, crop-safety, residue-support and product-positioning trials.
- Select, brief and manage CROs, universities, research stations and technical consultants.
- Ensure trial protocols, data collection, statistical analysis and technical reports meet required quality standards.
- Provide technical data and supporting narratives for product-registration submissions.
- Work with regulatory colleagues to identify data gaps and address technical questions from authorities.
- Develop product-stewardship, responsible-use and resistance-management guidance.
- Benchmark products and formulations against local competitors, grower practices and market requirements.
- Develop label recommendations, technical claims, launch positioning and value propositions.
- Train sales teams and distributors on product use, technical positioning and field performance.
- Support product demonstrations, customer meetings and launch-readiness activities.
