Seeking a hands‑on engineer with strong expertise in OpenSearch Couchbase and database administration combined with Python development skills to manage optimise and build scalable data/search platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with OpenSearch / Elasticsearch stack
- Hands‑on expertise in Couchbase (NoSQL DB)
- Solid DBA fundamentals (performance tuning backup/recovery HA/DR)
- Proficiency in Python (automation APIs scripting)
- Experience with REST APIs data integration and distributed systems
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- ADVANCED ENGLISH IS A MUST
- Hybrid role in any of our 4 locations in Mexico: Guadalajara, CDMX, Monterrey or Queretaro





Responsibilities
- Design implement and manage OpenSearch clusters (indexing search optimization performance tuning)
- Administer and support Couchbase databases (cluster setup replication backup/recovery scaling)
- Perform DBA activities including monitoring tuning capacity planning and troubleshooting
- Develop Python scripts/tools for automation data processing and system integration
- Optimize query performance indexing strategies and data models across platforms
- Ensure high availability security and data integrity of search and database systems
- Collaborate with application and data engineering teams on integration and performance improvements
