Position Summary

The AMER SC Strategist and Inventory Champion is responsible for defining, coordinating, and driving supply chain strategies across the AMER region, ensuring optimal inventory levels, product availability, and operational efficiency. This role serves as a key link between planning, operations, demand, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams to balance service levels, working capital, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain strategies for the AMER region aligned with business objectives.

Lead inventory optimization initiatives to improve product availability while reducing excess, obsolescence, and stockout risks.

Monitor and analyze key inventory, demand, supply, and service performance indicators.

Define inventory policies and parameters, including safety stock levels, reorder points, and target inventory coverage.

Coordinate with demand planning, supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure effective execution of supply chain strategies.





Identify supply chain risks and drive preventive and corrective actions to minimize business impact.

Promote continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supply chain resilience.

Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes by providing visibility into inventory positions and supply constraints.

Develop scenario analyses and strategic recommendations to respond to demand fluctuations, market changes, or operational disruptions.

Collaborate with regional and general stakeholders to ensure alignment in processes, standards, and best practices.

Lead or participate in transformation, digitalization, and automation projects related to inventory and supply chain management.

Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy to support effective decision-making.
