Your impact:
Software Engineers are at the center of the engineering teams at Correlation One. As an Engineer II, you build features and services within your team's technical blueprint and ship high-quality, well-tested code to production. You take on tasks that carry some ambiguity and grow your ownership over time, learning the culture of craftsmanship within your team along the way.
You are open to mentorship on technology, craft, and leadership, and you help sustain an inclusive culture where everyone is heard, respected, and empowered.
A day in the life:
- Build and ship features and services within your team's architecture
- Take on development tasks that carry some ambiguity, asking good questions to close the gaps
- Participate in code reviews and uphold the team's standards for engineering and operational excellence
- Write, review, and update technical documentation
- Collaborate across the team to deliver quality work at a steady pace
Your expertise:
- 2-3 years of professional software development experience (ready to own meaningful work with mínimal guidance)
- Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Python or Java
- Comfortable working with relational databases (we use Postgres)
- Familiarity with version control, code review, and automated testing as part
