CMM Engineer

Be the technical expert behind precision, quality and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a CMM Engineer to lead measurement programming, methodology and process improvement within the plant. This role will play a key part in ensuring measurement accuracy, supporting manufacturing teams and introducing new technologies to strengthen quality and efficiency.

What you’ll do
Develop, validate and optimize CMM programs and measurement methods for stationary and rotary table CMMs.
Create inspection reports and ensure all drawing requirements are properly measured using GD&T.;
Ensure the accuracy, capability and reliability of CMM measurement systems.
Analyze measurement results, troubleshoot issues and lead root cause and corrective actions.
Support operators and train CMM programmers and manufacturing teams.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve CMM programming, measurement processes and Lean manufacturing.
Evaluate new inspection technologies and recommend solutions that improve quality, efficiency and capability.




Support engineering projects and lead capital equipment initiatives, including CAPEX, ROI, supplier coordination and equipment implementation.
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to develop effective measurement solutions.

What you bring
Strong experience in CMM programming and metrology.
Expertise in Hexagon QUINDOS / QUINDOS Blade Ultimate, rotary table CMMs and optical sensors.
Experience with GOM Inspect for measurement analysis.
Hands-on shop floor experience and strong understanding of CMM capabilities and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of GD&T;, dimensional chains, higher mathematics and complex trigonometry.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with PC-DMIS, Calypso or PolyWorks is a plus.
