Role Scope & Purpose:
The WordPress Developer is responsible for designing, building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites that meet client or business requirements. This role covers the full spectrum of WordPress development - from theme and plugin development to performance optimization and site security. The WordPress Developer works closely with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver scalable, fast, and SEO-friendly WordPress solutions.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites including custom themes and plugins.
Translate design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD) into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress implementations.
Configure and customize popular WordPress plugins (WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, Elementor, Yoast, etc.).
Optimize website performance (page speed, Core Web Vitals, caching, image optimization).
Implement on-page SEO best practices in collaboration with SEO specialists.
Ensure website security through best practices, plugin management, and regular updates.
Manage site migrations, backups, and hosting configurations.
Set up and customize WooCommerce stores including product pages, checkout flows, and payment integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, errors, and compatibility issues.
Maintain documentation for custom development work and provide technical support to content e
