About the Role
Key Account Manager (Bilingual) — Strategic Accounts, Energy Sector. Full-time, on-site in Lerma, State of Mexico, with travel to the United States (2–3 visits per year).
You lead the relationship with strategic accounts that belong to a global corporate groups with entities in Mexico and the United States, and your mandate is to grow the value of those relationships. You inherit a mature portfolio from day one. Your variable compensation is tied to new business and its margin — not to existing billing — because the job is to cultivate and expand the account, not simply maintain it.



You own the strategic relationship and its growth; day-to-day operational execution is handled by a dedicated operations team, which frees you to focus entirely on the customer and on new scope.
Responsibilities
Own the strategic relationship with high-value accounts and grow account value by identifying and closing new scope.
Design commercial offers and lead end-to-end RFQ (request for quotation) processes.
Read account-level P&L; and make margin-based commercial decisions.
Coordinate across multiple entities of the general corporate group, aligning differing interests.
Build account plans and lead business reviews grounded in performance data.
Use AI tools for account research, meeting preparation, and offer/proposal drafting.
Travel to the United States (2–3 visits per year) to develop the relationship on both sides of the border.
