Role Scope & Purpose:

The WordPress Developer is responsible for designing, building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites that meet client or business requirements. This role covers the full spectrum of WordPress development - from theme and plugin development to performance optimization and site security. The WordPress Developer works closely with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver scalable, fast,



and SEO-friendly WordPress solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites including custom themes and plugins.
- Translate design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD) into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress implementations.
- Configure and customize popular WordPress plugins (WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, Elementor, Yoast, etc.).
- Optimize website performance (page speed, Core Web Vitals, caching, image optimization).
- Implement on-page SEO best practices in collaboration with SEO specialists.
- Ensure website security through best practices, plugin management, and regular updates.
- Manage site migrations, backups, and hosting configurations.
- Set up and customize WooCommerce stores including product pages, checkout flows, and payment integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, errors, and compatibility issues.
