Job Description The Quality Engineer holds a position of utmost importance in maintaining and elevating product quality standards. This role demands an exceptional level of expertise and an unwavering commitment to excellence. The critical responsibilities include:

Lead and manage critical customer communications regarding Product Quality Issues with the utmost professionalism and urgency
Implement and oversee rigorous quality assurance protocols for new product launches to ensure strict adherence to or surpassing of internal and external product quality standards
Meticulously manage and resolve customer and supplier complaints to enhance customer satisfaction and safeguard the company's reputation
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures, inspection methods, and testing protocols
Conduct thorough and regular audits of manufacturing processes to ensure strict compliance with quality standards and regulations
Perform in-depth analysis of quality data and metrics to identify critical trends, patterns, and areas requiring improvement




Engage in strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive mission-critical continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
Spearhead root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and implement decisive corrective actions
Deliver comprehensive training and authoritative guidance to production staff on quality standards and best practices
Diligently maintain and update quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
Actively participate in design reviews and new product development processes to ensure the integration of quality considerations from inception
Rigorously monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality and process efficiency
Maintain a constant vigilance on industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality engineering to ensure the company remains at the forefront of quality management

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role within manufacturing environments, especially attending OEM Stellantis.
Proficiency in quality management systems, particularly IATF 16949
Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis techniques
Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies; Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
Expertise in quality assurance and quality control techniques
Proficient in data analysis software such as Minitab and Excel
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and regulatory standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English and Spanish required
