Key Responsibilities:

Develop, configure, and support payment solutions using ACI’s UPF platform.

Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver customizations or enhancements.

Create and maintain UPF configuration artifacts including Message Maps, Service Configurations, and Delivery Channels.

Perform code-level debugging and performance tuning of UPF modules.

Integrate UPF with upstream/downstream systems including switches, fraud systems, and core banking.

Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing phases.

Handle incident and problem management for production systems, ensuring SLAs are met.

Contribute to documentation, including design specs and configuration guides.

Required Skills and Experience:

3–8 years of experience in payment systems,



preferably with hands-on experience in ACI’s UPF.

Good understanding of ISO 8583, XML, JSON, and other financial messaging formats.

Strong experience with UPF configuration elements (Service Definitions, Message Sources, Data Maps, Formatters).

Proficiency in Java or other languages commonly used in UPF customizations.

Familiarity with middleware, databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2), and Linux/Unix environments.

Experience in CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and ticketing systems like JIRA is a plus.

Exposure to real-time transaction processing, message flows, and integration with switches (e.g., BASE24-eps) is desirable.
