In this role you will be responsible for develop and assemble machinery according to the SOW, creating actions and close to since design, purchasing and assembly point of view to close the machine on time reporting progress through L2L to maintain the approved schedule, also provide support to facilities to improve the performance of the lines.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve :
Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems according to 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and machine specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues through root cause analysis , implementing corrective actions related to design, manufacturing, purchasing, or assembly to ensure successful machine completion.
Support machine development, validation, and commissioning activities by collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with Autoliv standards, including MPS, EPS, AS, and SOW requirements.
Manage project execution activities, including material follow-up, progress reporting, action-item closure, recovery planning, and adherence to established project timelines and delivery commitments.
Maintain and update technical documentation, machine drawings, and engineering records while supporting continuous improvement, innovation initiatives, and performance optimization of manufacturing equipment across Autoliv facilities.
If you have/are:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline,
with experience in machinery assembly, automation equipment, and manufacturing systems.
Minimum 5 years of experience in machine assembly and at least 1 year of experience in equipment or mechanical design within an industrial or automation environment.
Proficiency in SolidWorks (intermediate level or higher) , including 3D modeling, assembly design, and interpretation of engineering drawings.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical design, pneumatics, electrical and electronic systems , with basic understanding of PLC programming and automation technologies such as robots, servo motors, and magnetic motion systems.
Expert-level machine assembly skills, with the ability and willingness to travel internationally, maintain a valid U.S. Visa and Passport , and support extended assignments outside the MQT facility as required.
