Provide technical support for the installation, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial automation systems and equipment.
Perform technical activities involvingelectrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and basic automation systems, according to project and operational requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involvingPLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, control devices, electrical systems, and automated equipment.
Perform basicPLC programming and modifications, including Ladder Logic, troubleshooting, and adjustments to existing control programs.
Support the installation, testing, start-up, and validation of automated equipment and control systems.
Read and interpretelectrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation drawings and technical documentation.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to automation and control systems, as required.
Monitor and follow up on assigned activities, urgent technical requests, and project requirements to ensure timely completion.
Maintain tools, equipment, materials, credentials, and technical resources in proper working condition, following safety and operational requirements.
Maintain accurate records of technical activities, prepare progress reports, and communicate project status and technical issues to the Engineering team and management.
Support project planning by estimating activity times, coordinating technical tasks, and assisting with system integration activities.
Identify opportunities for improvement and participate inKaizen and continuous improvement activitiesto optimize processes, equipment, and work methods.




Request, evaluate, and follow up onRFQs and supplier quotationsfor materials, components, tools, and equipment required for automation projects.
Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, and external suppliers to implement technical solutions.

Experiencia y requisitos
6–12 months of experiencein industrial automation, electrical systems, controls, maintenance, manufacturing equipment, or a related technical field.
Technical degree, associate degree, or equivalent education inMechatronics, Electromechanics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Basic to intermediate knowledge ofPLC programming, Ladder Logic, HMI systems, sensors, actuators, electrical controls, and industrial automation equipment.
Knowledge ofPLC, AutoCAD, HMI, and MATLABor equivalent technical software is preferred.
Basic knowledge ofpneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Ability to read and interprettechnical drawings, electrical schematics, and automation documentation.
Experience with troubleshooting and root cause identification for technical issues.
Knowledge ofSCADA systems, distributed control systems (DCS), and industrial communication protocolsis desirable.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
Good organizational skills and ability to follow up on multiple technical activities and project requirements.
Conversational English – B1 level.
Availability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform hands-on technical activities on the production floor.
