Contract

- Type of contract: Full-time / Permanent.
- Business Group: Exteriors Plant San Luis Potosí / Industrial Engineering.
- Scope: Local position with strong cross-functional interaction across Manufacturing, Quality, Program Management, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Customer teams.

Responsibilities

- Approve direct labor requirements.
- Manage engineering changes.
- Support new program launches.
- Conduct time and motion studies for new processes and when process changes occur.
- Update SAP work content for labor efficiency calculations.
- Develop and implement line balancing activities to exceed customer expectations and reduce non-value-added activities.
- Implement, update, and maintain process documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Standardized Work Instructions, Visual Aids, and related documentation.
- Develop plant and process layouts using AutoCAD software.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Value-Added / Non-Value-Added analysis.




- Define and establish the optimal production process flow.
- Design ergonomic material racks that meet process requirements.
- Develop and implement procedures in accordance with IATF 16949 requirements.
- Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement ideas and suggestions related to Quality, Process Improvement, Safety, and Environmental Management.
- Provide support in resolving daily issues reported in production processes and support areas.
- Actively participate in initiatives related to the Integrated Management System and support the closure of nonconformities as required.
- Review and maintain customer portals.
- Participate in the development of new programs.
- Perform plant capacity calculations.

Specific Duties

- Conduct time and motion studies for new processes and when process changes occur.

- Develop plant and process layouts using AutoCAD.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Value-Added / Non-Value-Added methodologies.
- Participate in Layered Process Audits.
- Participate in structured problem-solving activities and continuous improvement projects.
