**Level 3 Teaching Assistant**
NextGen Teachers are currently working with a Primary School based in LS17 who are currently recruiting for a qualified Teaching Assistant.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching staff in delivering high-quality education.
You will work closely with pupils-both individually and in groups-to help them reach their full potential, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons and activities
- Support individual pupils,
including those with special educational needs (SEN)
- Deliver small group interventions to help boost learning
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
- Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
**Requirements**:
- Level 3 in childcare/ child development
- Experience working in a primary/nursery school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, caring and versátil approach to supporting pupils
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
- An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
- The right to work in the UK
