SUMMARY:
The Sr. Financial Planning Analyst plays a key role within the Global Operations FP&A; team, focusing on operational expense (Opex) analysis, financial planning processes, including the annual budget, quarterly rolling forecast, and long-term strategic plan. And data-driven insights to support decision-making for Latam.
This role is responsible for enhancing cost visibility, improving reporting capabilities, and driving automation initiatives that enable the team to focus on value-added financial analysis rather than manual processes.
The position also owns key cost allocation governance processes, including the Clearing House framework, ensuring optimal deployment of financial resources aligned with business priorities and return objectives.
Responsibilities:
· Support the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long-term planning processes for Opex across Latam operational teams.
· Ensure alignment of Opex projections with business assumptions and strategic objectives.
· Perform detailed analysis of operating expenses, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
· Deliver monthly variance analysis vs. budget and forecast, explaining key deviations.
· Provide actionable insights on cost drivers and efficiency opportunities.
· Support the effective management of Opex, ensuring that expenses are strategically allocated to the most impactful programs, projects, and sites.
· Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation and improve financial returns across Opex investments.
· Improve reporting structures to reduce manual workload and cycle times.
· Identify and implement automation opportunities in FP&A; processes in ATC platforms (reporting, data extraction, reconciliations, etc).
· Act as a financial business partner to general FP&A; and operational teams.
· Prepare reports that facilitate effective decision-making.
· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across financial reports and systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
· Between three- and five-years of experience in financial project management, financial tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
· Advanced Excel (financial modeling, pivots, data manipulation).
· Strong experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools).
· Experience with Oracle and budgeting tools such as TM1 a plus.
· Intermediate to advanced level of English proficiency.
