- Education: Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Key Knowledge: Customs regulations, Incoterms 2020, basic tariff classification, and trade compliance systems.
- Languages: Advanced English required (spoken and written for international vendor communication).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc. is a plus).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate ocean, air, and ground import shipments from origin to final destination.
- Review and validate shipping documentation prior to customs entry (Invoices, Packing Lists, BL/AWB, Certificates of Origin,
Entry documentation).
- Track daily shipment statuses and handle customs clearance processes with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Support basic tariff classification and verify compliance with Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions.
- Maintain complete digital and physical files for each trade operation for compliance and audit readiness.
- Process payments for import duties, customs broker fees, and freight charges.
- Generate monthly reports and KPIs tracking logistics costs and transit times.
