Roles and Responsibilities

- Designing and integrating essential components for a High Voltage substation or HVDC Substation in compliance with integral and local standards.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for efficient substation layout implementation, and design calculations
- Developing comprehensive design specifications and supporting procurement activities.
- Managing project strategies, risks, and customer relationships for successful project delivery.
- Ensuring streamlined documentation management and facilitating effective design processes.
- Collaborating with construction teams to incorporate valuable design insights for enhanced project outcomes.
- Manage engineering subcontractors for specific work packages.
- Support site teams to ensure smooth erection and capitalize lessons learnt.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience:



Experience in the design of HV substations, HVDC Substation, including layout design and component selection. Experience with CAD software Autodesk CAD tools, Revit, BIM360, ACC and substation design tools is a plus.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of HV substation design principles, industry standards, and regulations. Familiarity with protection and control systems is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using design and simulation, calculation software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
