The successful candidate will work closely with field supervisors, project engineers, and project managers to ensure safe working conditions, regulatory compliance, installation quality, and continuous improvement of QC and Safety processes.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

- Maintain and continuously update company safety programs in accordance with Cal/OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate and deliver safety trainings and toolbox talks covering topics such as electrical safety, trenching and underground work, fall protection, heat illness prevention, and dropped-object prevention.
- Maintain an ongoing schedule of QC and Safety meetings across active projects.
- Manage subcontractor safety documentation and startup requirements.
- Track and report key safety metrics, including man-hours, incidents, near misses, TRIR, EMR, claim costs, and training completion.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, document findings, and follow through to closure.
- Prepare and maintain required safety documentation, including IIPP and project-specific safety records.
- Track employee safety certifications, including OSHA 10, OSHA 510, and other applicable credentials.

Quality Control

- Lead daily field QC inspections across active construction projects.
- Develop detailed project QC structures covering common areas, units, site work, panels, feeders, conduits, and other electrical components.
- Create component-level inspection checklists to verify installation quality and compliance.
- Maintain inspection logs, drawings, revisions, inspection history, and photographic evidence using digital tools.
- Review installed electrical work against approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and project requirements.
- Analyze Labor Cost Productivity (LCP) information and provide corrective guidance to field teams.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers and Project Managers regarding daily reporting, quality standards, and accountability.

Digital Tools & Process Improvement





- Take ownership of the company's internal QC/Safety digital inspection platform from an operational perspective.
- Identify system issues, document bugs, define business requirements, test new functionality, and coordinate improvements with software developers.
- Maintain and prioritize improvement requests based on field and operational needs.
- Participate in the development of new reporting, safety metrics, certification tracking, productivity integrations, and inspection capabilities.
- Coordinate with technical support and development teams to resolve system issues.

Qualifications

- Strong background in electrical construction, preferably commercial and/or multifamily projects.
- Working knowledge of Cal/OSHA requirements and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Previous experience developing, managing, or executing Safety and/or Quality Control programs.
- Experience conducting field inspections and reviewing electrical installations against drawings and specifications.
- Ability to lead safety trainings and maintain accountability with field teams.
- Comfortable working with digital reporting and construction/field management applications.
- Ability to document software requirements, prioritize improvements, test functionality, and communicate effectively with software developers.
- Previous experience with construction or field inspection applications is highly desirable.
- Fully bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, documentation-driven, and comfortable managing multiple active projects.
