What You'll Bring
Required
- 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in healthcare, patient access, scheduling, registration, referrals, ambulatory operations, healthcare IT, or a related environment.
- Advanced English, with the ability to communicate professionally in written and spoken English.
- Experience with ticketing, support, scheduling, registration, CRM, or case management systems.
- Understanding of patient access and/or healthcare administrative workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management mindset.
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable approach.
- Commitment to continuous learning.
Nice to Have
- Epic experience or certification.
- Cadence experience.
- EHR/EMR experience.
- Experience with healthcare scheduling or patient registration systems.
- U.S. healthcare experience.
- Experience with referrals, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, or patient access.
- Healthcare technology or consulting experience.
- Experience working with clinical or administrative healthcare teams.
- Experience with MEDITECH, McKesson, Lawson, OnBase,
EHR/EMR workflows and healthcare operations.
What You'll Do
- Support and analyze patient access, scheduling, registration, and ambulatory workflows within Epic.
- Support system requests, incidents, and workflow issues related to Cadence and patient access functionality.
- Assist with the analysis, configuration, testing, and validation of application changes.
- Work with healthcare organizations to understand patient access and operational requirements and translate them into application solutions.
- Support workflows related to appointment scheduling, patient registration, provider schedules, referrals, check-in/check-out, and patient information.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate appropriate resolutions with technical and operational teams.
- Participate in testing, quality assurance, and validation of system enhancements.
- Create and maintain application documentation, workflow materials, and support resources.
- Collaborate with patient access teams, schedulers, registration staff, clinic operations, clinical teams, and technical stakeholders supporting U.S. healthcare clients.
- Help ensure that patient access workflows are accurate, efficient, and aligned with organizational requirements.
- Support initiatives focused on access optimization, scheduling efficiency, workflow improvement, and patient experience.
You don't need to be an Epic expert.
What matters most is your ability to understand workflows, solve problems, communicate with stakeholders, learn technology, and translate operational needs into effective system solutions.
