Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience working in networking, cloud, or data center environments.
- Experience managing NPI programs for printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) hardware with a focus on vendor management, cost control, quality/reliability, and on-time delivery.

Preferred qualifications:

- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

- 5 years of experience in multiple aspects of hardware and manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge about hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation, assembly and test processes.
- Developed leadership, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creativity and strategic skills.
- Effective communicator of project requirements and schedules.

multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.
- Plan and execute operations development activities, ensure transition to production within cost, quality, and capacity parameters, and ensure production transitions meet program goals.
- Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., material availability, cost/assembly/test/BOM/capacity readiness and transition plans).
- Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule, or demand.
