Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dependable Property Maintenance Coordinator to remotely oversee the maintenance and general condition of approximately 30 properties.
The adecuado candidate is resourceful, responsive, and solution-oriented. You will be responsible for coordinating vendors, scheduling repairs and services, managing maintenance expenses within assigned budgets, and following up to ensure all work is completed properly.
This is a fully remote position based in Mexico.
IMPORTANT: Full professional fluency in English is REQUIRED. Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write English confidently, as communication with vendors, management, and other team members will be conducted in English.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance needs for approximately 30 properties.
- Find and contact reliable gardeners, handymen, plumbers, electricians, cleaners, and other service providers as needed.
- Obtain and compare vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
- Schedule repairs, landscaping, preventative maintenance, and other property services.
- Manage maintenance expenses within assigned budgets.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure work is completed correctly and on time.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance requests, vendor information, pricing, and completed work.
- Coordinate recurring maintenance and property services.
- Respond quickly to unexpected property issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
- Assist with the setup and preparation of new properties.
- Provide management with updates regarding maintenance issues, costs, and outstanding items.
- Ensure all assigned properties remain properly maintained and in excellent condition.
- Take ownership of maintenance issues from initial report through final completion.
Qualifications
- Fluent English is REQUIRED — must be able to speak, read, and write English professionally and confidently.
- English proficiency will be evaluated during the interview process.
- Previous experience in property management, maintenance coordination, facilities management, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently research and locate reliable vendors and service providers.
- Comfortable calling vendors and negotiating pricing.
- Ability to obtain and compare multiple quotes.
- Comfortable managing budgets and tracking expenses.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and maintenance requests simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Comfortable communicating through phone calls, email, text, and online platforms.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who takes ownership and gets things done. When a maintenance issue occurs, you should be able to independently find the appropriate vendor, obtain pricing, coordinate the service, stay within the assigned budget, follow up on the work, and make sure the problem is completely resolved.
You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities without requiring constant supervision.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11,866.00 - $15,256.00 per month
