Responsibilities:
- Bring strong domain understanding, project controls knowledge, and scheduling expertise to clients in the Capital Projects industry to deliver business value.
- Support delivery of large capital project engagements by contributing to planning, scheduling, governance, and PMO frameworks.
- Assist in setting up and managing PMO frameworks, project dashboards, RAID logs, risk registers, and meeting cadences.
- Work closely with client-side and internal stakeholders to coordinate project timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Apply knowledge of project lifecycle stages – engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning – and assist with schedule alignment across these stages.
- Utilize scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project to develop and maintain project schedules, baseline plans, and perform schedule risk analysis.
- Prepare project reports and dashboards to support client decision-making including milestone analysis, critical path assessments, and variance reporting.
- Support digital transformation and enablement across project management functions through adoption of scheduling and PMO tools.
- Participate in workshops, walkthroughs, and proof-of-concept sessions to define, refine, and validate project planning and governance approaches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field (required).
- Advanced English.
- For Analyst 3+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO setup, and Project Scheduling within Capital Projects or large-scale transformation programs.
- For Consultant 5+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO setup, and Project Scheduling within Capital Projects or large-scale transformation programs.
- Experience in working with planning and scheduling tools like Primavera, MS Project, Procore or similar applications.
- MBA or master’s degree in management, Project Management, BIM Management or a related discipline (preferred).
- Certifications in Oracle PPM tools (e.g., Oracle Unifier, Aconex), CIPS, CPSM, PMP would be a plus.
Experience:
- Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with Power BI or Tableau for reporting is preferred.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and direct client-facing roles in a consulting or client advisory environment.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), S-curve analysis, forecasting techniques, and project health assessment is desirable.
- Knowledge of project controls and digital enablers in construction/engineering projects is a plus
- PMP certification or working towards PMP/Prince2 will be an added advantage.
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Strong project planning and control knowledge with ability to coordinate across functions and track schedule dependencies.
- Understanding of PMO frameworks including governance, stakeholder management, change control, and risk management.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex project environments.
- Ability to derive insights from data and generate reports that influence project-level decisions.
- Good communication and presentation skills for interfacing mid-level to senior-level stakeholders.
- High learning agility with a consulting mindset – problem solving, structured thinking, and adaptability.
