SETTER
Location: TETLA, TLAXCALA
What are your main tasks?
1) Ensure proper mold changes to guarantee mold integrity and the correct operation of the injection molding machine.
2) Perform injection molding machine start-ups.
3) Analyze the causes of mold damage and prevent recurrence using problem-solving methods.
4) Provide feedback and training to production line personnel regarding recurring issues.
5) Review the daily production plan with the supervisor and/or shift leader.
6) Organize and coordinate the preparation of equipment and/or tools for mold changes.
7) Hand over molds requiring repair to the maintenance department.
8) Correctly complete the mold change checklist (FO P 55).
9) Participate in daily 5-minute meetings.
10) Perform and ensure adjustments to any mold and/or machine as needed to produce parts that meet specifications and/or quality criteria.
11) Maintain process management integrity in accordance with instruction IN I 180.
12) Perform adjustments based on the process sheet (FO I 50), adhering to limits and tolerances.

Log process parameter changes for future reference and/or necessary documentation updates (Process Sheets FO I 50).
14) Perform machine start-ups following prolonged shutdowns and/or sudden stoppages (e.g., power outages).
15) Collaborate on the creation of conditional temporary programs.
16) Assemble, optimize, and/or fine-tune robotic arm end-effectors as required or dictated by the process.
17) Maintain communication with the engineering department regarding changes made to production processes.
18) Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate for the work area.
19) Ensure order and cleanliness in the mold storage area.
20) Participate in maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO TS 16949/IATF 16949 certifications, and ensure compliance with safety parameters based on applicable regulations.
21) Participate in assigned training programs, with a commitment to applying the knowledge gained to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
What are your qualifications?
SMED Overhead
Crane Operation
High school diploma or technical degree in Plastics, production processes, and/or a related field.
3 years in the role and in the automotive industry
