JOB PROFILE
We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator with on-site construction experience, responsible for overseeing compliance with safety measures, identifying risks, and ensuring the application of current occupational health and safety regulations.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Safety supervision on construction sites in accordance with current regulations.
- Implementation and follow-up of workplace safety plans.
- Identification and assessment of on-site risks.
- Personnel supervision and monitoring of safety protocols.
- Knowledge and application of STPS (Mexican Labor Authority) guidelines.
- Proper use of construction tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Management and supervision of correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of follow-up reports for the project files.
- Development and follow-up of action and contingency plans in line with the work plan.
- Review of logistics for personnel, suppliers,
and material receiving.
- Coordination of maintenance, hygiene, and training activities.
- Communication of preventive, mitigation, and emergency measures.
- Supervision and control of high-risk activities, including:
- Fire extinguisher handling and fire prevention.
- Manual handling of loads.
- Proper PPE use.
- Training and group management.
- Working at heights.
- High-risk electrical work.
- Lockout/Tagout and signage (LOTO).
- First aid.
- Operation and supervision of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs).
