The selected candidate will collaborate with IT Operations, IT Infrastructure, IT Shop Floor and the ICT - Corporate IT department.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Request setup, configurations, and validation with new EDI trade partners (customers and suppliers)
- Report on and validate EDI communication with EDI trade partners
- Take full ownership in designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting new and existing EDI services and tranformation maps
- Perform application configuration, mapping, and monitoring of EDI transactions and processes to enable flow of EDI into and out of ERP system
- Design AIAG shipping labels from customer requirements
- Daily EDI production support and troubleshooting
- Review and resolve trade partner EDI transaction errors in a timely manner
- Identify trends in EDI failures and make recommendations to trade partners and teammates on a permanent solution to failure.
- Concise verbal and written communication with trading partners and users
- Clear and detailed documentation of requirements, test plans and project summaries
- Must demonstrate good organizational and follow-up skills and work independently with minimal supervision, including ability to balance multiple tasks
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Provide training and documentation for IT team members and End Users




- On call and off hours support as needed
- Maintain 24x7 support availability when needed

Desired Qualifications

- Four year degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related area of discipline
- 3+ years Implementing EDI Projects, Automotive EDI preferred
- Extensive knowledge with EDI Standards (X12, EDIFACT, VDA, XML)
- Extensive knowledge of EDI Business documents exchanged in Automotive Industry
- 3+ years ERP experience, Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 and/or SAP preferred
- API (desirable)
- Communicate complex data exchange concepts
- Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules
- Experience in a multinational environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be a self-starter able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Good project management skills
- Must speak and write proficient English
- Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
- Domestic and International travel as required
- Experience with EDI in the automotive Industry
- X12 Protocol: Mapping of transactions 830, 862, 810, 850, 856, 846.
- VAN and interconnects configuration.
- Shipping flow and ASN generation (any ERP).
- Basic knowledge of EDIFACT protocol (mapping of DELFOR, DELJIT, DESADV).
