Senior iOS Developer

Location: Mexico – 100% Remote

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to join a mobile engineering team and take ownership of complex features from technical design through production release.

In this position, you will develop and modernize iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit. You will also contribute to architectural decisions, identify opportunities to incorporate artificial intelligence, mentor other engineers, and promote best practices in testing, CI/CD, performance, and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, test, and release high-quality iOS features.
- Work with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit in a mixed codebase.
- Modernize legacy UIKit components using SwiftUI when appropriate.
- Lead technical design discussions and influence architectural decisions.
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into mobile experiences.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and technical debt.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
- Establish best practices for testing, CI/CD, and code quality.
- Participate in planning, estimation, and technical roadmap discussions.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.




- Proven experience working with mixed Swift/UIKit codebases.
- Hands-on mobile AI or machine learning experience using Core ML, Vision, Natural Language, or third-party AI/ML APIs.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools.
- Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or VIPER.
- Experience with GCD, Operation Queues, and/or async/await.
- Strong knowledge of memory management, Instruments, performance optimization, and complex debugging.
- Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, networking layers, and third-party SDKs.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Advanced English proficiency is required for daily collaboration with international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience delivering features powered by generative AI, LLM APIs, or conversational interfaces.
- Familiarity with App Store submissions and release management.
- Experience with modular architectures or multi-module applications.
- Knowledge of iOS accessibility practices, including VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $84,000.00 per month
