What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented designer to join our growing apparel brand as a full-time remote team member. This role will combine CAD design support with AI-generated product image creation, helping streamline and modernize our design department.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, solid CAD experience, and the ability to quickly learn and operate AI-based design tools while following strict brand and retailer guidelines.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer, preferably in apparel or fashion
- Strong eye for design, layout, and visual consistency
- Comfortable learning and using AI-based design tools
- High level of independence and self-sufficiency (minimal hand-holding)
- Ability to follow structured processes and detailed guidelines
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness
Nice to Have
- Experience working with U.S. apparel brands or retailers
- Familiarity with Amazon product imagery standards
- Background in fashion, apparel production, or technical design
Key Responsabilities
CAD Design Support
- Create, edit, and prepare CAD files for apparel products
- Ensure accuracy in measurements, proportions, and technical details
- Collaborate with in-house designers to support ongoing collections
- Prepare CADs for use across internal teams and AI image tools
AI Image Creation (On-Brand Design Tool)
- Use an AI-based “on brand design” tool to generate product images (e.g., garments on body)
- Upload CAD files into the AI system and write effective prompts
- Ensure all generated images align with brand standards and visual consistency
- Apply strong visual judgment and common sense to select and refine outputs
- Work closely with the internal designer to learn tool parameters and workflows
Brand & Retail Compliance
- Follow specific guidelines and parameters required by major U.S. retailers (e.g., Amazon, Macy’s, Nordstrom)
- Maintain consistency across product visuals for online marketplaces
- Adapt quickly to feedback and evolving brand standards
