About the role

What you'll do

- Perform verification assessments of oil and gas equipment and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Evaluate design documentation, specifications, and test results to verify adherence to applicable codes.
- Create comprehensive verification plans outlining the scope, methodologies, and acceptance criteria for different projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to align verification activities with project timelines and milestones.
- Identify potential risks associated with the design and implementation of oil and gas projects.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the overall safety and reliability of the systems.
- Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements and expectations for verification activities.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on compliance issues and best practices.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, codes, and standards relevant to the oil and gas sector.
- Ensure that verification processes align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for verification activities.
- Conduct audits to verify that verification processes are consistently applied and meet company and industry standards.
- Generate comprehensive technical reports documenting verification activities, findings, and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of verification processes and outcomes for future reference and auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, project managers, and clients, to facilitate effective communication and integration of verification activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the verification workflow.
- Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of verification processes.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior verification engineers or other team members.
- Share knowledge and best practices to build a strong and competent verification team.
- Act as Bid Manager for upcoming Opportunities
- Act as Project Manager for simple and regular projects

About you

What is required

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance, permitting, auditing, verification, inspection, or technical assurance activities within the energy, industrial, infrastructure, or oil and gas sectors.
- Experience reviewing technical, operational, or regulatory documentation and preparing technical reports and compliance-related deliverables.
- Experience conducting site visits, field assessments, inspections, audits, or verification activities is desirable.
- Experience supporting projects involving industrial facilities, pipelines, energy infrastructure, or hydrocarbon-sector operations is desirable.
- Experience supporting proposal preparation, technical scope development, or client-facing technical discussions is desirable.
- Experience coordinating project activities, follow-up of deliverables, and multidisciplinary technical inputs is desirable.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Technical Competencies

- Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks applicable to industrial and energy-sector projects.
- Knowledge of permitting processes, regulatory submissions, compliance obligations, and management system requirements.
- Ability to review technical studies, project documentation, engineering deliverables, operating procedures, and compliance evidence packages.
- Familiarity with audit principles, verification methodologies, and compliance evaluation processes.
- Working knowledge of industrial safety, operational risk management, management systems, or regulatory governance practices.
- Ability to interpret laws, regulations, standards, and technical requirements and translate them into practical project actions.
- Strong technical writing skills, including preparation of reports, findings, compliance assessments, and recommendations.




- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
