About the Role:

The AI Infrastructure Engineer – Contractor will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure required to deploy, operate, and scale AI and Machine Learning workloads.

This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, distributed systems, and AI. The adecuado candidate will ensure that AI applications and models can operate reliably, securely, efficiently, and cost-effectively in production environments.

This is a remote contractor opportunity available to professionals located anywhere in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure for AI and Machine Learning workloads.
- Build and manage cloud-based environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support GPU-based computing environments for AI workloads.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI applications.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Monitor infrastructure reliability, availability, performance, and costs.
- Optimize compute resources for model training and inference.
- Implement observability, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues.
- Collaborate with AI, ML, Platform, Data, and Software Engineering teams.
- Support security, scalability,



and reliability best practices across AI infrastructure.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
- Experience supporting production environments and cloud-based applications.
- Experience working with AI/ML infrastructure or workloads strongly preferred.
- Professional working proficiency in English.

- GPU infrastructure and AI compute environments preferred.
- Git and version control.
- Infrastructure security fundamentals.

Must Have:

- Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience.
- Strong Kubernetes and Docker experience.
- Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Experience maintaining production environments.
- Strong Linux knowledge.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of networking, scalability, and infrastructure reliability.
- English proficiency.
- Must be located in Mexico.

Schedule:

- Monday through Friday.
- Remote within Mexico.

Sueldo: $60,000.00 al mes
