We're hiring a Mobile Automation QA Engineer with strong experience in iOS and Android test automation to help deliver high-quality mobile applications through scalable automation frameworks and modern quality engineering practices.

This role is adecuado for someone who enjoys solving complex automation challenges, improving test reliability, and working closely with engineering teams in a collaborative hybrid environment in Mexico City.

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days per week in the Mexico City office.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, maintain, and enhance mobile automation frameworks for iOS and Android applications.
- Design reliable automated test suites that support functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues including flaky tests, race conditions, synchronization delays, and device state challenges.
- Implement resilient locator strategies for dynamic mobile user interfaces.
- Work with automation concepts including test listeners, hooks, and interceptors.
- Collaborate with developers to understand application workflows and diagnose test failures at the source.
- Contribute to quality improvements across the software testing lifecycle.
- Support API and web testing initiatives when needed.
- Explore AI-assisted testing tools and GenAI solutions to improve test generation and automation efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Experience building and maintaining mobile automation frameworks.




- Strong knowledge of mobile automation testing for both iOS and Android.
- Hands-on experience with Espresso and/or XCUITest.
- Working knowledge of Swift and/or Kotlin, with the ability to read, debug, and contribute to native application code.
- Strong understanding of automation fundamentals, including:
- Test listeners
- Hooks
- Interceptors
- Resilient locator strategies
- Experience diagnosing:
- Flaky tests
- Race conditions
- Synchronization issues
- Device state problems
- Experience across the full software testing lifecycle:
- Functional testing
- Regression testing
- Integration testing
- End-to-end testing
- Exposure to API and web testing.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AI-assisted testing tools.
- Familiarity with GenAI-powered test generation and automation optimization.

Important Note

This is not a core Swift or Kotlin development position.

The primary focus is Quality Engineering and Mobile Test Automation, with sufficient native mobile experience to work effectively within Swift and Kotlin codebases, understand application workflows, and troubleshoot automation issues.
